** Changes to Qecho 2.66a, Mailscan 2.66, MailToss 2.66a **
******************
** QECHO v2.66a **
******************
1) Areas.Kdp Fix ***
Ok The Areas.Kdp file should never blow up now...
Heres how to find out how big AREAS.KDP file will get on
your setup.
(Number of Areas Defined in AREAS.BBS) * 10023 = (Size of AREAS.KDP)
Areas.kdp will keep track of the last 1000 msgs tossed or exported
from your system per area. You no longer need to delete it because it
will only get so big then stay at that size, unless you add or subtract
an area from areas.bbs. You may however erase it at anytime and it will
start over. The Program EchoKDup is no longer needed.
2) Packers & Endpackers statement ***
Qecho would not use this unless the statements were Left justified.
( Now it doesn't matter ) Fixed
PACKERS and ENDPACKERS statement in Qecho.Ctl. Example
PACKERS
300/5 Pkzip -a
ENDPACKERS
Note if a net/node is not listed there then the Archiver called
will be "Pkpak -oct -a"
3) ASCII #4 After ^APATH statement ***
Qecho was writing a length byte in the packets causing some problems
with other echomail programs...Fixed
4) FidoDate Format ***
Qecho was using the old SeaDog Date Format. I changed it to meet
the suggested format in the FidoNet Specs.
5) Area Tag ***
Qecho would place a space in the packet area tag. This has been
fixed.
6) Exporting ***
Changed Qecho to only export messages that have the local bit set
(Default). If for some reason you would like for qecho to ignore
the local bit, add the -b switch to Qecho during export.
********************
** MailScan v2.66 **
********************
1) FidoDate Format ***
Changed to FidoDate Format
*********************
** MailToss v2.66a **
*********************
1) -? Help Switch Added
2) Fixed the problem with the switchs and the commands
will work as they suppose to.
Well thats it for now, sorry Qecho isn't zone aware yet.
I guess ill have to fix that :-)
if you have any bug reports, Please get as much info as possible and
send it net mail to 1:300/5
Also since adding zone and point support to an echo mail processor
will require lots of research, if you have an ideal or advice, please
send them.
Take Care and Support Steve and Richard!
